Hjelmeland municipality is located in Ryfylke in Rogaland. The municipality borders Suldal towards the north, Bykle towards the east, Forsand towards the south and Finnøy towards the west. The municipality has an area of 1 089 km2 and 2711 inhabitants.
Hjelmeland municipality, hereafter called the contracting authority, refers to the announced competition and invites tenderers to submit requests for participation in stage 2 of the competition for the procurement of 24 hour municipal residential and care services for a user under compulsory psychiatric health care.
