The tender contest is implemented by the Norwegian Armed Forces, c/o the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation.
The Framework Agreement shall comply with the Norwegian Armed Forces requirements for membrane tarpaulin with and without lining, also referred to as mountain tarpaulin, military basha, military hooch, tarpaulin, etc. Membrane tarpaulin with and without lining, henceforth referred to as mountain tarpaulin. Mountain tarpaulin is used in many situations, but it shall mainly be used to provide soldiers with shelter from the weather and wind. The mountain tarpaulin is a multi-function tarpaulin that is used in all areas of the Norwegian Armed Forces operations. The mountain tarpaulin is the soldier's primary survivor equipment and it shall protect the soldier from the elements when tents are unavailable. It can also be used in a combination with tents.
