Arendal municipality has 15 public primary and secondary schools, which shall all provide swimming lessons over the course of the school year. There are 5 swimming pools in Arendal that are connected to 5 of the schools that are used for these lessons. The rest of the schools do not have their own swimming pool and all of these must use a bus to get to a pool for swimming lessons. This procurement is for this bus service, which will take place every week from the 1st week in September until the 1st week in June, with the exception of school holidays and public holidays during this period.
The competition is, therefore, for the procurement of the bus service to transport pupils to and from swimming lessons.
