The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency shall adapt the buildings for the NATO department Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger for new assignments described in the revised assignment portfolio ADD CP 9B0401.
The new assignments will, amongst other things, require alterations to the existing building and installations that JWC use. It involves the renovation of other nearby buildings and also a new building in order to have room for new capacities for the department.
The project portfolio starts with preliminary engineering design services from summer 2018. The first stage in the project portfolio shall be built and handed over to JWC by spring 2020.
The engineering design assignments are for building categories and functions within: stores, advanced office buildings, teaching capacities, canteen, changing rooms/showers, simple road installations, automation installations/central operation installations, upgrades to technical systems within ventilation and electrical installations and installations/buildings with a need for a high degree of physical and electronic security.
