Central elements in this contract in the pilot project are:
— 8 year contract,
— Merging of two operational contracts,
— Increased self-management requirements as regards own employees,
— Increased self-management requirements as regards central types of machines,
— Emission requirements for Euro 6, Step/Stage IV,
— First line equipment for central assignments shall belong to and be staffed by the main contractor,
— Use of mechanical removal of snow/ice base. A road planer, alternatively an underlying cutter shall be used in the first line in snow falls,
— Apprentice contracts in relevant disciplines during the contract period,
— Amended/adjusted amounts and prices.
The contract is for operational and maintenance assignments, with function responsibility for some of the assignments, on national roads, national foot and cycle paths, county roads and county foot and cycle paths with the accompanying side installations, side areas, equipment and installations in Kviteseid, Fyresdal, Nissedal, Nome, Drangedal, Tokke, Vinje, Odda and Bykle municipalities, in accordance with the road list in chapter D2-V and D2-S20.
