As part of the ambition for full broadband coverage in Trøndelag, a number of broadband expansions shall be performed in the period 2017-2019. Both new accesses and upgrading of the existing.
Some of the projects will be anchored in NKOM and the scheme they manage. Projects outside of this will also be carried out, where the county municipality collaborates with the municipalities in Trøndelag.
As of January 2018, it has not been decided which areas shall be included in this project, but there will be an appendix to this notice that describes the areas that are most appropriate to expand.
The lower limit for basic good broadband has not yet been determined, but the county municipality will regardless require that the solution is expanded to be able to provide 100 Mbps download.
The minimum requirements and contract award criteria are given in the tender documentation with annexes. This will be discussed at the dialogue conference. We invite input on both this and the requirement specification.
