A project offices has been established for the SNR project at Hjelset, on the eastern end of the site area for the new hospital. The building is from 1970 and it was originally built as a bedsit building for employees at the psychiatric hospital. The building was later used as a school. In 2015, the ground floor had minor alterations so that it could be used as a project office for the introductory phase. The building has three floors over a basement floor. In order to make room for the project organisation and accompanying activities, the upper two floors shall also be altered and upgraded. The 2 floors have a gross floor area of 600 m2 (300 m2 on each floor). In addition to the construction work, balanced ventilation and a lift shall be installed. The building shall be given a relatively general design as an office building, with the aim that, after the project organisation for SNR has moved out, it can still be used as offices.
