The Norwegian Institute of Public Health — NIPH shall procure an instrument that allows real-time genome wide sequencing and de novo composition of genomes The instrument shall be used for i.a. identification of disease-causing pathogens in complex samples (emergency samples), rapid identification of antibiotic resistance of pathogens (plasmid analyses) and for epidemic situations.
