Københavns Universitet Nørregade 10 Copenhagen 1017 Caroline Volf +45 35333391 caroline.volf@adm.ku.dk www.oko.ku.dk university Acquisition of a Dusatec Gelimate to The Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen. 043-0274-17-7000 The procurement is for a Gelimat Thermokinetic/Compounding machine type G-5 from Dusatec Inc. The equipment will be used to produce unique new materials for R&D work. The samples made will help developing the material from a seed stage to full potential. The Dusatec Gelimat is the only equipment that fit the requirements for our needs for this specific project. Dusatec, New Jersey, USA produces the Gelimat thermokinetic mixer for compounding plastics. Our cooperator at the Brazilian Dept of Agriculture, Embrapa Nanotechnology, Sao Carlos, Sao Paulo State, Brazil uses the Dusatec and for compatibility requirements IGN will produce samples from the Dusatec Gelimat. The Gelimat is an ultra-high speed thermokinetic mixing, drying, fluxing and compounding system which allows processing a wide range of polymers with organic fiber material for producing highly loaded bio based fiber- polymer compounds. The GELIMAT thermokinetic principle reduces compounding and processing time to seconds. 170430.00 By use of the Gelimat compounded material is discharged automatically by means of various adjustable processing cycle devices through a special discharge door. The ejected material can then be fed into a melt pump, a short barrel extruder, calendar system, molding system or other type of shaping device. It shows the temperature of the mixing mass by using infrared. Features Included: — Suitable for multiple control scheme production modes, — Machine process parts are made of stainless steel, — Cooled compounding vessel, — With a total compounding vessel capacity of 7.2 litres, — Useful net capacity of 5 litres, — Machine with 90 kW drive system, — Machine includes product infrared temperature sensor indicator. The compounding chamber should include a cylindrical compounding vessel is made of stainless steel and is jacketed for cooling water circulation and mounted on a sturdy frame. Compounding vessel features a flanged end plate, which is also jacketed for cooling, for quick access into the mixing vessel for cleaning and inspection purposes. The vessel is equipped with a water vapour or gas discharge vent. Lower part of the mixing vessel is equipped with a sealed discharge door, installed in an outlet chute. Discharge door entirely welded on supporting blades. Operation of the discharge door is made through bent lever system. An easily accessible pneumatic cylinder operates the discharge flap. According to the European Parliament and Council Directive No. 2014/24/ EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, Article 32. 2, point b, the University of Copenhagen believes that The Dusatec Gelimat is the only equipment to meet the requirements of our project. We are cooperating with the Brazilian Dept of Agriculture, Embrapa Nanotechnology, on this project. They already have a Gelimat. IGN needs to compare or share results from equal machines/processes. The cooperation is a crucuial nt part of the research. Compounding shaft: The machine is equipped with a special mixing/compounding mechanism. The compounding shaft is designed as a tube made of stainless steel, with mixing elements made of stainless steel, with inserted steel trunnion. The tips of the mixing elements are reinforced by means of wear resistant Stellite. The mixing shaft is cantilevered. The mixing I compounding mechanism is supported in amply dimensioned self-aligning, outboard mounted roller bearings. The shaft passage is equipped with a special seal. Driving pivot of the compounding shaft suitable for flexible coupling for connection with the drive train. Machine drive: The compounding shaft is equipped with a coupling for connection with the main drive shaft. Machine drive by 111.eans of one (1) premium efficiency inverter duty AC Motor, suitable for 3-phase, 380 volts, 50 Hz Motor in TEI1C design, continuous duty, P = 90 kW, n = 3000 rpm. The drive section is a vibration free drive with a broad timing belt. The drive train is also provided with a brake system to facilitate quick loading of the product batch to be processed. VFD Motor Drive: One (1) Frequency Inverter to allow for a range of different processing conditions with efficiency converter for the infinitely variable speed drive of a motor of 90 kW. — Exit amplifier for external indication of the rotor speed (converter internal signal). — Switch gear, fuses, incl. input side main switch suitable for 380 volts, 50 cycles. Machine operating: Operation via touch panel with colour display Functions: — Visualizing the machine with indication and status of operating elements — Display of target-and actual values of the production demands — Display of operation-and fault alarms in clear texts User menus in English Additional operating of machine via buttons and indicators. The following operating elements are provided for: 1. Main motor Start/Stop, 2. Discharge door Open/Close, 3. Product discharge temperature controller with digital readout, 4. Emergency Stop. 2017-06-01 Dusatec Inc. 19 Spear Road, Suite 107 Ramsey NJ 07446 +001 2017738000 sales@dusatec.com +001 2017738040 170430.00 Klagenævnet for Udbud Dahlerups Pakhus, Langelinie Allé 17 Copenhagen 2100 +45 35291000 klfu@erst.dk http://www.klfu.dk Kokurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen Carl Jacobsens Vej 35 Valby 2500 +45 41715000 kfst@kfst.dk www.kfst.dk A complaint against the contracting entity who, in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Directive No. 2014/24/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, Article 32, has decided to award a contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union must,in accordance with the Danish act on enforcement of procurement rules, etc. § 7, para. 3, be filed to the Danish Public procurement Appeal Board within 30 calendar days from the day following the day on which a contract notice is published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
