The municipalities would like to improve their digital communication and thereby increase the degree of self-service for users of the websites, in order to come a step nearer the aim of ‘digital first choice’. This frees up internal resources that are currently used to answer questions on the phone and on email that ought to be easy for users to find out for themselves.
Consultancy and advice are thus wanted for the redesign of the portals for the municipalities in Nordhordland Utviklingsselskap IKS. This process has the aim of establishing the following:
— New technological platform;
— A new design across the municipalities (any any new municipalities), which will form the basis for re-use;
— Strategic content guidelines for digital communication (including social media);
— Training and advice for employees who work on managing the content;
— Support and operation.
