Eidsvoll municipality is planning to extend Vilberg secondary school from 4 to 6 parallel classes; a total of 540 pupils. Parts of the existing school shall be demolished. The wings B (the main block south), C (the arts and craft department), and D (the pavilion) shall be completely demolished. Wing A (the main block north) shall be reconstructed and/or renovated. A new addition with outdoor areas shall be constructed. The addition shall contain a 3 storey class/group room wing, as well as a 2 storey cross wing with a main entrance, containing joint student changing rooms, specialized training rooms, a canteen and an assembly hall. The new class room wing and the existing building shall be connected by a 3 storey transverse communication connection. The first floor shall contain rooms for adapted education.
The school will be in operation during the entire contract period.
