The current agreements on transaction collection (Payment Service Provider — PSP) of Visa and MasterCard transactions expires on 30.6.2017, and Ruter AS therefore has a need for new agreements to handle the administration of these services. The agreement will concern payment transactions between Ruter AS's remote trade channels and the End User, where the tenderer is a trusted third party for the management of payments and settlements, and payment transactions between Ruter AS's physical sales outlets and the End User, where the tenderer is a trusted third party for management of payments and settlements.
During the contract period it may be necessary to include transactions from alternative means of payment such as immediate payment mobile apps and loading of mobile subscriptions in the PSP service. Ruter AS will also assess other alternative payment methods that the PSP provider can offer, such as invoiced based payment, without this being a requirement in the tender offer.
Ruter AS wants an agreement with a collaborating partner in transaction collection, starting from 1.7.2017 and with a duration of 2 years, with an option on 1 year + 1 year extension.
The following public transport companies have the option to join the agreement:
— Agder Kollektivtrafikk AS;
— Brakar AS;
— Kolumbus AS;
— Skyss;
— Troms Fylkestrafikk;
— Østfold Kollektivtrafikk.
