Tissue Processor for fluid based cytology at The University Hospital of North Norway.
The University Hospital of North Norway (UNN), Department of Clinical Pathology, intends to undertake the purchase of a tissue processing machine for fluid based cytology.
The instrument shall be used for the preparation of fluid based cervix samples, of which 85 % of the samples shall go on to HPV testing. The instrument shall also be used in the preparation of other cytology materials such as urine, spinal fluid, pleura/ascites and cyst fluids. Approximately 34 000 cytology samples are prepared annually.
We hereby invite tenderers to a supplier presentation/market survey.
The purpose is to identify the different systems available on the market, before the final tender documents are prepared.
We want contact with suppliers for 1-to-1 presentations, and coverage of the following points is expected:
Presentation of the system's functionality and flexibility.
The system's ability for automation.
The system's ability for immuno and molecular supplementary testing.
Any solution for electronic communication with LIS (Symphaty).
Each supplier will have 1,5 hours to give their presentation and to respond to any questions. The presentations will take place 18.11.2016 at agreed consecutive times.
