A new classroom wing shall be constructed at Lunde primary school. The current Lunde primary school was constructed over several stages in the period 1964 — 2000. The Søre Neset catchment area is growing fast and the school must expand in order to meet the pupil capacity. This construction stage shall form the basis for upgrading the entire school to a full 3 parallel primary school. The upgrading work in the existing building is mostly not included in this contract — apart from what is explicitly mentioned.
The new classroom wing shall be constructed with 3 storeys and the wing shall be physically constructed together with the existing school — in accordance with the sketches/drawings.
A new pupil canteen and a new teacher canteen in a large communal vestibule shall be established, which shall also be used as a local arts and activity centre for the catchment area outside school hours.
The new building shall, in total, be constructed for energy class B. Otherwise the building shall be constructed in accordance with the building regulations in TEK10.
This turnkey contract is for both engineering design services and the complete execution of all technical building, construction and installation work for a ready-to-use building in accordance with the delivery description.
Lunde primary school shall hold normal teaching in the existing building when the new classroom wing is being constructed. The contractor and all his sub-suppliers/contractors are, thus, to exercise consideration to the school. A lot of focus on safety from accidents and optimal learning environment as regards noise.
