Norway's laboratory for banned drugs analysis c/o the Department of pharmacology at Oslo University Hospital, Aker Hospital, is an international accredited laboratory for banned drug checks in sports. The section shall procure a high resolution mass spectrometer with two fluid chromatographical systems (UHPLC and nano-HPLC), which shall be used for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of banned drugs and their metabolites in body fluids such as urine and blood. All additional components that are necessary for the analysis equipment to be operative must be included in the procurement. The equipment shall be used for routines analyses and research.
