Oslo University hospital, also referred to as OUS, would like to procure a ‘high-end’ ultrasound apparatus to the Women and Children's Division, the Foetus medical division, the Department of Obstetrics at the National Hospital. The ultrasound apparatus shall be used in connection with foetus medicine.
Range of application: deformity diagnostics for all foetal organs, especially for advanced cardiac diagnostics, assistive aid in relation to invasive procedures on foetus, placenta and amniotic fluid. Doppler measurements in growth retarted fetus, twin transfusion syndrome, anaemia studies, etc. Furthermore, the 3D ultrasound apparatus will be used in connection with cardiac diagnostics, vascular anomalies, various abnormalities in the central nervous system, cheilognathoschisis, etc.
