DALO has purchased ship bridge simulators through a EU-procurement in 2011. Kongsberg Maritime AS won the tender procedure and entered into a contract regarding the simulators with DALO on 14.12.2011. The sustainment contract expires on 1.7.2015. It is expected that the bridge simulators will last for another 10 years and in that period DALO needs sustainment of hardware, software and service on DALO existing bridge simulators from Kongsberg Maritime AS. Kongsberg Maritime AS is the only company who can handle these works and supplies effectively due to IP-rights of the ship bridge simulator.
