An X-ray tomography system with high X-ray energy for investigation of heavy material components and larger objects. The system includes both a nanofocus transmission target module and a reflection target and dual source with a flexible multi metal target of Mo, W, Ag, and Cu. The system has a 225 keV source with a spot size of less than 1 micro meter, a precession rotate stage, a motorized alignment and a motorized movable FID. The system is internally stabilized and cooled for metrological high precession measurements.
