Statens vegvesen Region vest shall construct a new E39 road between Svegatjørn in Os kommune and Rådal in Bergen kommune. In relation to this, Statens vegvesen is obligated to implement noise measures on nearby properties that experience noise above the limited value determined in the planning regulations for the project. In accordance with noise mapping carried out by Norconsult AS, noise measures must be implemented on a total of 130 residences. Facade measures shall be implemented in the form of new windows, new vents, noise insulation of walls, balanced ventilation, etc. In addition, several of the residences shall have their outdoor areas shielded. This contest includes action on approximately 33 residences, divided into the follow actions:
— 7 of the residences will receive facade measures;
— 5 of the residences will receive balanced ventilation;
— 20 of the residences shall receive outdoor measures.
