Restoring of the Organ in Grimstad Church.
The Organ was built by August Nielsen to the church's consecration in 1881. In later years the Organ has not been used. The organ has a particularly high conservation value. The organ had originally 15 registers, on 2 manuals and pedals.
The Organ has had a redeployment, and Manual 2 has been placed in a swell box. The organ shall be restored as near as possible to its original condition. In addition will 2 (two) new registers be added to Manual 2, using August Nilsen pipes. Some practical adaptation/amendments may be considered.
