A) Purpose
The contract is for the procurement of transport of patients who, for health reasons, cannot use scheduled public transport and patient transport on routes where such service is lacking. For this reason, normal, 5-seater vehicles or minibuses and vehicles specially adapted for wheelchair users will be required.
The procurement shall contribute to the contracting authority being able to carry out its obligations as regards the patient and user rights law § 2-6, ‘Right to transportation’.
b) Scope/assignment
The service provider shall meet all requirements for the following patient transport:
— Transport within the offered municipality in Møre og Romsdal.
— Transport outside of the offered municipality in Møre og Romsdal.
Deliveries related to this tender include the following municipalities: Aukra, Aure, Averøy, Eide, Fræna, Kristiansund, Midsund, Smøla.
