Tromsø municipality would like to enter into a contract for the transport of day-centres users for a period of 2 years, with an option for an extension for a further 1+1 year.
The transportation assignments include transport of users from their home addresses to the municipality's day centres and return every day except Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, Christmas and new year's evenings as well as Wednesdays before Easter. For some day-centres the transportation also includes picking up companions at the day centres. Then the users are to be picked up at their home addresses with return to the day centres. Equivalently this applies for return transport when the day centres close. The transportation service applies for the following day centres:
Nordøya,
Kvaløya,
the Mainland,
Tromsø, Norway
Laureng,
Heracleum,
Tindfoten,
It must be expected that number of users and addresses in the listed areas are changed during the contract period. The requirement is changed over time due to replacement of the users. The change is more frequent for some user groups than others.
The existing transport routes and their addresses are given in annex 2. New transport schedules shall be prepared and approved in close cooperation with each user location.
In 2013 the municipality's costs in connection with transport to and from the day centres were approx. 4 000 000 NOK.
The volume will depend on the Contracting Authority's budget situation, activities, other frame factors and the historical purchase volumes should therefore be considered instructive, only. The stated prices are the foundation for future alterations based on users.
It must be expected that the number of travellers, travelling patterns, composition of user groups, changes in picking-up and delivery addresses, possibly requirements for part payable by user, etc. may vary.
