A service provider shall be procured who shall transport lost property.
The service provider shall transport lost property from selected collection places to NSB's lost property office at Oslo S. The transport shall be carried out with an interval of 2-5 times per week. Lost property shall not be delivered to the lost property office at Oslo S at weekends. The lost property objects shall be adequately secured from damage or theft during transportation.
Typical objects are items of clothing (hats, gloves, jackets), umbrellas, bags, handbags, glasses, wallets, mobile telephones, digital units (PC, mac, tablet), but there are also some larger objects such as bicycles, suitcases and skiing equipment
The amount varies throughout the year; the number of objects increase on busy days. Annually there is a total of between 30 000 - 40 000 objects.
