Oslo University Hospital, Microbiology Department, Bacteriological Section, shall enter into a contract for a seeding machine for bacteriological samples from liquid transport media. The seeding machine is the first link in the automation of routine operations on a long term basis. The equipment unit shall be able to carry out marking, sewing and sorting of liquid sample materials for bacteriological growth, as well as at a later date other types of microbiological samples and the addition of several modules. Suppliers are asked to state which modules/functionalities can be connected to the equipment today and which are planned for the future. . The Microbiological Department, Ullevål Unit carries out a total of approx. 265 000 and the Rikshospitalet Unit 116 000 growth analyses per annum.
