IVAR IKS cancels the competition for the "collection, transportation and treatment of impregnated wood" and is awarding the contract directly to Forus energigjenvinning 2 AS.
Before the competition notice, consideration was given to awarding the contract directly to the company that IVAR IKS is a co-owner of, Forus energigjenvinning 2 AS. But it was decided that announcing the competition was what was most wanted.
After the competition notice, however, we see that it is more appropriate to handle this assignment within our own site and a decision has therefore been made to award the assignment directly to FE2 AS . IVAR IKS cancels the competition therefore, and will award the contract directly to RE2 AS.
We apologise for any work that has been started for the preparation of a tender and would like tenderers to participate in procurement processes at a later date.
