I In collaboration with Trondheim Havn IKS, Trondheim Municipality will conduct an environmental clean-up of the seabed in the harbour area. In the 4 designated areas, the seabed will be covered with a clean mineral layer that will insulate and protect against the spread of contaminants found in the sediment. This tender documentation includes offshore work, including dredging for depth correction and deposition of material with specific requirements as regards grain size ranges and layer thicknesses. The fill to be used is procured in a different contract. In addition, a waste disposal site will be constructed to hold the dredged sediments. This will take place under strict control against siltation and spread of contaminants and is based on a permit issued under the Pollution Control Act.
