The project is to be carried out with a building contractor as the main contractor (Western Norway model). Parallel contract for technical disciplines (electrical, elevators, ventilation/cooling, heating/sanitation and with central control system incl. in one of these contracts.)
The main contractor shall be an administrating parallel contractor and provide a number of joint mobilisation services for the project.
The assignment encompasses construction management. The construction management shall be carried out in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and NS8403 (General contract provisions for construction management projects).
The project involves a construction manager being hired by Flora municipal authority from shortly before the production phase and through up to and including completion, testing and adjustment, trial period and up to and including handover.
Follow-up during the guarantee/claim period of three years is included in the assignment. Refer to Chapter A1 for the schedule.
The main task of the construction manager is to ensure that the functions, qualities and quantities that are specified in the contract are carried out at the right time and within the agreed financial framework.
