'Pager-type systems' are understood to be pager, IP-DECT, portørCOM and AMKOM systems with associated applications.
Sykehuspartner intends to enter into a maintenance agreement with Ascom Norge for 57 locations which Sykehuspartner is responsible for running.All equipment has been developed and manufactured by Ascom and has Ascom-owned software.
Sykehuspartner's personnel are currently capable of carrying out part of the firstline service, and replacing certain parts.Sykehuspartner is entering into an agreement with Ascom to have access to secondand thirdline service, and those parts of the firstline service for which Sykehuspartner is not currently trained, as well as to have defective equipment repaired, primarily handsets.
Through an agreement with Ascom (Norge), Sykehuspartner's service personnel will also have access to product training, software support and essential software updates.
There will also be an agreement for the purchase of spare parts, and Ascom Norge AS is the only supplier in Norway with the full Ascom range.
