I, with the library service hereby invite you with this pre-qualification for signing of framework agreement concerning the purchase of foreign hard copy and electronic journals as well as subscription management for use by hospital trust employees and by hospital trust departments.
The supplier must be able to deliver both foreign hard copy journals and foreign electronic journals. Current agreement includes both individual titles and journal packages.. The supplier must also themselves or through sub-contractors be able to provide electronic access to the employees at SI through the library services website.
The estimated annual buy is 1.4 - 1.7 million NOK + vat. There is uncertainty around assumed estimated volume and it is also subject to changes of subscriptions during the term of the contract based on needs and wants.
SI with the library service want in addition to enter into their own agreement on delivery of an electronic medical encyclopaedia.
Further scope/descriptions and detailed requirements will be stated in the separate specification which will be sent out together with invitations to tender and price forms.
NB: under the auspices of Cristin (Current Research System in Norway previously Frida) and the Norwegian Health Library efforts are being made to provide national solutions for access to electronic journals, such solutions can have consequences for the scope of an agreement. Any regional agreement in the South Eastern Regional Health Authority may have similar consequences for the scope of work.
