The NPRA (Norwegian Public Roads Authority) wants to acquire increased expertise within the disciplines of corrosion and metallurgy to establish solutions that can help prevent undesirable corrosion of key elements/electrical equipment in both undersea tunnels and tunnels. It is the West Region /Project Department who issue the announcement and initially it will be the Project fv 47 (County Road 47) T-connection in Rogaland which will be the work site.. However, there is work on other undersea tunnels in the region, and it would be natural to utilise the desired expertise in several places. The Directorate of Public Roads has a project under way called «Long-lasting tunnels». The expertise will also be used here.
Designing descriptions/specifications in the Tender Document which means we are supplied with optimal quality of the components and equipment we want.
Monitoring of received supply such that what is delivered is in accordance with the Tender Document and cross-references to current manuals and regulations.
