NP requests a Norwegian shipowner who shall undertake the management of the institute research vessel R/V Lance (www.npolar.no/no/om-oss/lance/).
The management contract is for 2 years from 1.1.2013, with an option of a further 1+1 year prolongation.
Supplier shall make daily decisions on behalf of NP. Supplier will therefore, in accordance with code of conduct and normal good practice, be responsible for staffing, technical inspections, repairs, classification and day-to-day maintenance classifications, and otherwise in all respects ensure that the vessel is kept in a presentable and seaworthy condition and maintain all their certificates.
