The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, has since 2009 had a system for coordination of surveys directed towards school owners and school managers regarding various conditions in the sector. The objective is to reduce the pressure on the education sector by limiting the number of many small surveys.
By acquiring the requirements the governmental authorities have for collecting knowledge base for decision in the form of mapping and smaller surveys up to twice a year, a selection of local school authorities will receive such requests with just 1, 5 years intervals. Up to now, 6 of these surveys has been executed.
The Awarding Authority shall now enter into a new framework agreement for implementation of surveys directed to school owners and school managers in the Primary and Secondary Education and Training for the period 2013-2015.
