RD89 Fenno-Skan electrode mats

Short description

Fingrid is responsible for planning and operating the Finnish electricity transmission system and for maintaining and developing the system. As part of this work Fingrid is planning to carry out the procurement for spare Fenno-Skan electrode nets. The basis for the current electrode refurbishment is based on the faults in the electrode system. Several electrode net feeding cables have been found to not to carry any current, and the main suspect is for faults near the electrode nets. Fingrid plans to replace the broken electrode nets and prepare for new replace needs. This procurement is made to purchase the needed new electrode nets with necessary accessories for the replacement. Annex 1 "Procurement notification" specifies the scope of the procurement. The procurement includes an option to tender for design and manufacturing of electrode net installation accessories, specified also in the Annex 1. Tendering for the Option can be set as mandatory in the Invitation to Tender.
