This project focuses on showcasing Nordic examples in climate action that align with the Global Stocktake (GST) decision's objectives agreed at COP28 for deep, rapid, and sustained reductions in greenhouse gas emissions in line with 1.5°C pathways. The project aims to highlight solutions across various sectors, and inspire global efforts toward a sustainable and resilient future. The project objectives are: •Identify and showcase exemplary Nordic climate initiatives across various sectors, emphasizing their alignment with the objectives set forth in paragraph 28 of the GST decision. •Assess the scalability and replicability of these initiatives at a global level . In alignment with the Nordic ministerial declaration and Vision 2030, this project aims to highlight Nordic solutions and initiatives that contribute to the implementation of the GST decision and the achievement of climate neutrality. By showcasing Nordic climate action, the project seeks to inspire global efforts towards a sustainable and resilient future in line with 1.5°C. The project is commissioned by the Nordic working group for Climate and Air (NKL) under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The Ministry of Environment of Denmark is hosting the Secretariat of the NKL and therefore carries out the procurement of the project.
