We represent the steering committee, and we are in the process of exploring potential solutions to measure video viewership online (streaming) and broadcast ("traditional TV").
We are seeking more detailed information regarding your approaches and technologies to TV and online video viewership measurement.
Specifically, we are interested in insights on the following aspects:
Possible measurement technologies: We would appreciate details about the current technologies you use, plan to use, or are developing, including how they operate.
Handling technological advancement and changing video viewership: Given the rapidly shifting landscape within the media and entertainment sector, we wish to understand how you plan to maintain relevance and accuracy of your methods and services over time. This includes indication of when significant innovations will become available.
Expected timeline: What is the typical implementation timeline for such solutions? How do you foresee future updates or revisions?
We would like to invite you to present your answers to the prompts above, and in advance of the presentation we would like to receive a summary of your thoughts and methodologies in writing, so that we can meet prepared for the presentation. The summary should be in PowerPoint or PDF format and should be no more than 15 pages.
We will revert with the exact date for such a presentation but believe it will be in February or March 2024. We would appreciate receiving any written material at least two weeks prior to the presentation.
