Short description
The main objective of this procedure is to select the best proposal to carry out the survey on gender gaps in unpaid care, individual and social activities (CARE) – second wave.
Second wave of EIGE’s CARE survey aims to inform EU and national policy developments and monitoring. The survey data will be used to monitor political commitments as established in two Council Recommendations on the new Barcelona targets on early childhood education and care, and on access to affordable high-quality long-term care, adopted by the Council on 8 December 2022.
Second wave of EIGE’s CARE survey aims to inform EU and national policy developments and monitoring. The survey data will be used to monitor political commitments as established in two Council Recommendations on the new Barcelona targets on early childhood education and care, and on access to affordable high-quality long-term care, adopted by the Council on 8 December 2022. The survey data also informs the monitoring of the European Care Strategy and the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, as closing the gender care gap is one of its key objectives.
The survey will also collect new data for the revised domain of Time of the Gender Equality Index 2025.
