Trumpas pirkimo aprašymas CERN intends to place a contract for the design, supply and assembly of two different lots of radiation hard Twinax data bundles terminated with PCBs at both ends. The Supply shall be composed of 8-24 bare cables with dimensions below 1.12 mm x 0.71 mm. The first lot will contain about 830 radiation hard bundles consisting of 57 km of Twinax cables for data transmission at 1.28 Gbps, including the PCBs terminating the cables as well as the sub-millimeter connection of the PCBs onto the cables. The first lot shall have a radiation resistance of 250 Mrad, a bending radius of < 10 mm and be delivered from Q2 2024. The second lot will consist of about 420 radiation hard bundles and 32 km of bare cables. The second lot shall have a radiation resistance of 324 Mrad, a bare cable bending radius < 10 mm and be delivered from 2024.
