Short description
The Norwegian Agency for Public and Financial Management would like to enter into a framework agreement. The framework agreement is for cash cards and the accompanying infrastructure. The framework agreement will be signed on behalf of government entities and can be used where government entities need to pay persons who cannot get/do not have a bank account in Norway. The government entities are located nationwide, and the framework agreement will apply for all locations where it is needed.
The Norwegian Agency for Public and Financial Management hereby notifies the market of a coming contest. We would like to join up with a framework agreement supplier/partner that will provide a cash card system with the accompanying infrastructure for government entities. We are now in the process of preparing the contest documents with the accompanying requirements, and plan to announce the contest when this work is completed.
This prior information notice is intended as early information so that relevant tenderers can prepare for the coming tender contests and any involvement of sub-suppliers. It may be relevant to shorten the deadline for tender submission since the procurement is being announced as a prior information notice before the general notice.
We assume that one supplier will have the main liability for the entire delivery under the framework agreement.
We are planning to hold the contest in accordance with the open tender contest procedure. The contest notice is expected to be published some time between the end of August middle of September 2023. Note also that the framework agreement is scheduled to be signed by the middle of November 2023.
