NRK Regional Offices, cooperating in seven groups, produce regional TV news.
NRK’s Film restoration and Archive production Dept is digitizing analog video formats and film onto our video server, which serves as the heart of our production chain. Our aim is to store 160 000 hours of archive material onto our production server in a five years’ period.
The aim for this tender is to establish a contract for the procurement of one film cleaning machine using HFE fluid for cleaning archive film after manual handling by our restoration personnel. We also want to invest in a new or refurbished film scanner / data scanner which can transfer our film material onto our preferred file format in the most cost-effective way.
Our old Lipsner-Smith CF 3000 film cleaner may be seen as trade-in part of our investment in a new film cleaner.
