The contract is for catering, including the delivery of hot and cold food, as well as cakes and bakery products for the municipality's entities. The contract will be non-exclusive for both the contracting authority and the tenderer. Oslo Municipality will encourage all entities to use this contract, but the total scope of the contract is uncertain.
The procurement will be restricted to entities or programmes that have a primary objective of integrating disabled or disadvantaged persons into working life. This only applies when at least 30% of the employees, or alternatively those who provide the main service, have a disability or are disadvantaged, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 8-8. This also applies for sub-providers, if any.
