Oslo Municipality plans to announce a contest for the procurement or hire of smart waste containers and measuring sensors/level measurers to put on existing waste containers, as well as possible additional equipment. There is a need for a contract that covers the need of all entities in Oslo Municipality for smart waste containers.
Oslo Municipality needs smart waste containers with a large capacity that will be placed in public areas. There is a need for a product and a solution that gives a good data basis for its operation and logistics. In addition there is a need for measuring sensors/level measurers that can be placed on existing waste containers and that can be connected to the same system as the smart waste containers.
As part of the market survey we are now publishing a 'Request for information' (RFI). When reviewing the responses we get, we will assess the need for an invitation to one-to-one meetings with suppliers.
