Short description
Project Nygårdsgaten 5 is currently subject to comprehensive reconstruction, and shall when the project is completed accommodate UiB's (the University of Bergen) central administration and large parts of UiB's further education programmes. Nygårdsgaten 5 shall be equipped with a new stage, sound, stage light and visual equipment (Norwegian: SLLB) for Storsal [the Main Hall]. Storsal [the Main Hall] is planned to be used for ordinary education with simple operation done from the lecturer's touch screen. The equipment shall also be used for conferences and cultural events. The equipment is then operated by personnel with technical competence.
