Short description
The Agency for Waste Management and Recycling [Renovasjons- og gjenvinningsetaten (REG)] carries out waste management for a portfolio of public and private business customers. The assignment includes receiving and processing mixed commercial waste from the Oslo schools, City Hall and The Palace. In addition, it will also include an option to receive waste from the Rusken campaign and leftover jumble sale products, and an option to hire containers. This procurement will contribute to promoting REG's stated objective of reducing waste production and increasing reuse and recycling of materials, in line with the waste hierarchy. It is therefore preferred that as much mixed commercial waste included in this procurement as possible is sorted for material recycling.
