Alver, Aurland, Austrheim, Austevoll, Fedje, Gulene, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, Vaksdal Municipalities have established a joint ICT operation company, IKT Nordhordland kommunalt oppgåvefellesskap (IKTNH).
This enquiry primarily concerns:
1. Backup
IKTNH has chosen to carry out a tender contest for the delivery of a backup system where the objective is to achieve the best possible solution for a complete system.
The objective of the procurement of a new backup system is to ensure that the municipalities' data can be restored in the event of any errors or loss of data. Backup of data must be secured against tampering. The system must also give the municipalities access to future-oriented solutions, so that this can contribute to developing the cooperation the municipalities already have and future plans The contract shall also contribute to this cooperation being financially advantageous for the municipalities.
