Short description

The Royal Danish Library requires the performance of a task concerning processing images of newspaper pages scanned from its collection of original newspapers with the aim of creating a digital version for long-term storage. The advertisement includes the procurement of newspaper post-processing and OCR, i.e. splitting and cropping scanned images into single pages, naming the files and OCR, thus capturing and producing relevant metadata. The final product shall be a TIFF image file for each page of the newspaper and a number of related xml files in further specified formats.
