The purpose of the tendered work is a continuation and extension of a 2021 feasibility study that focused on assessing the suitability of 4 existing NG caverns (and wells) in the north of Jutland (Denmark) for hydrogen storage.
To establish the GHH project, some caverns are expected to be repurposed to hydrogen storage, whereas others to air storage.
The aim of the new tendered work is therefore twofold:
• Determine the suitability of 2-4 existing NG caverns & wells for hydrogen storage
• Determine the suitability of 2-4 existing NG caverns & wells for compressed air storage
Main Place of Execution:
Mainly the consultant’s own offices, with some meeting activity at Energinet´s offices in various Danish locations.
