The contest will be for emptying and transporting septic sludge from small sewage treatment plants (< 50 pe) in Drammen, Hole, Holmestrand, Krødsherad, Lier, Modum and Øvre Eiker Municipalities.
The plants comprise interceptors for sludge (septic tanks), sealed tanks, miniature treatment plants, outside toilets, etc. Interceptors for sludge connected to the municipal sewerage system are not included in the competition. The emptying scheme is voluntary for tanks that do not have a water connection (privies, incinerator toilets etc.). It will not be possible to propose systems where dewatering of the septic is carried out on site.
The contract value is estimated to be above the EEA threshold. The volume can be both higher and lower, and will depend on, amongst other things, the contracting authority's needs, activities, budgetary situation and other framework factors.
