Short description
Bane NOR will, as the owner and operations manager for the goods terminals in Norway, develop, manage, and facilitate good terminal systems. Bane NOR would like to contribute to an increase in the railway's share of the goods market through strong focus on cost efficient and strategic intersection development.
The current terminal mode for Alnabru involves several simultaneous terminal operators. The model can have weaknesses that mean that the terminal is not optimally used (resources/capacity). As the goods terminal is an important, but large cost unit in the value chain goods traffic on the railway, Bane NOR would like to have a dialogue with the market on terminal operation and any changes for the Alnabru terminal.
The aim of the market dialogue is to give Bane NOR more information on the conditions around terminal operations, as well as having a dialogue around measures that can be sensible to implement for more efficient operations.
