Adult salmon will be counted in 2021 with sonar in Kárášjohka and Anárjohka. Counting salmon with sonar in Kárášjohka will be a permanent part of the monitoring programme in 2022 and the following years. The starting point is that the counting will be done in a tributary in addition to Kárášjohka from 2022. However, the monitoring in river system 'no. 2' from 2022 could be decided on the basis of the actual management situation. Tenderers must therefore take into account that counting salmon in river system No 2 can be changed from year to year. The most relevant alternative locations for counting salmon in addition to Kárášjohka are expected to be the Norwegian tributaries Goššjohka, Váljohka, Iešjohka or Máskejohka.
