The Danish Road Directorate (DRD) is in a process of analysing and develop a new contract regime for Road Traffic Signal Controllers (RTSCs) and supply of related services and supplies. As a part of this process, the DRD initiates this market dialogue with potential suppliers within this new contract regime. The purpose of the market dialogue is to get the market's input to the scope and interface between the five types of contracts in this new contract regime. The insight that the DRD acquires from this market dialogue is considered a very valuable and important input to the process of determining the new procurement strategy and the final setup of this new contract regime. The procurement strategy will be decided in 2021. This is a written market dialogue where the DRD has listed a series of questions to the five types of contracts within the contract regime:
A. Supply – RTSC;
B. O&M – RTSC and AGD;
C. SCADA services;
D. RTSC prg. – design and development;
E. O&M – external equipment.
This market dialogue is a separate process from tenders within this new contract regime. Consequently, as a future potential supplier you are not obliged to attend this dialogue if you plan to tender.

2) Download the documents for the market dialogue;
3) Answer the questions in the document ‘Market Dialogue, Road Traffic Signal Installations. Questions for Potential Suppliers’. The answers must be submitted to
ruly@vd.dk, with a copy to
nmv@vd.dk and
ddm@vd.dk no later than 28 May 2021. Submissions may be in Danish or English. You do not have to answer all questions if it is only one type of contract that is of interest to your organisation. Additional documentation may be submitted as attachment to the questionnaire, under the conditions that the answers in the questionnaire contain a clear cross-reference to attached documentation. If there is any additional information that your company considers important to inform the DRD about, then please attach it in a separate document when submitting your answers;
4) The DRD does not plan to follow up this written dialogue with dialogue meetings, but the DRD reserves the right to invite for dialogue meetings should there be a need for further clarification of answers or themes in the questionnaire.
The purpose of the market dialogue is to get the market's input so the DRD can determine on a new procurement strategy. Therefor there are currently no tender timeline for any of the contract types, the DRD is analysing at the moment.
